End of Course Exams

Students enrolled in the Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology I, and/or U.S. History courses will take the EOC exam for each course in which they are enrolled during the current school year. EOC exams are administered during the last several weeks of the corresponding courses and all students are given one opportunity to take each EOC exam for which they are eligible.

The Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology I, and U.S. History EOC exams each take approximately 90 minutes to complete. Students may exit an exam and return on another day to complete it.

Students who wish to receive credit for Algebra in 8th grade must pass the Algebra End of Course exam.

For more information and access to practice tests, please visit the Hawaii State End-of-Course Exams website.
